Deryl Patterson, AIA

With over 40 years of experience specializing in residential architecture, Deryl Patterson is an award-winning architect that has a unique ability to energize a room and drive innovation through design. Deryl draws from everyday life to channel thoughtful design that improves the way we live. She has served on various NAHB committees, including design, education and the 55+ council. She is a graduate of the university of Cincinnati with a bachelor of architecture and is a registered architect in multiple states.

Thomas Devine, AIA

As Partner at Housing Design Matters, Tom Devine heads the Tampa office and is a licensed architect in multiple states. Prior to working for Housing Design Matters, Tom worked at Ryland (now owned by Lennar) and served as the Director of Design at Arthur Rutenburg. Tom’s decades of experience working for builders gives him a unique perspective on architectural and strategic planning for new communities, making him an asset for production builders nationwide.

Gene Santos

Joining us after serving in the us Navy for 6 years and various graphic design firms, Gene Santos brings a wealth of talent and creativity in designing our graphics. His expertise in CAD and architectural renderings allows builders and home buyers alike to envision the finished product before it’s built. He holds various awards for his graphics work including the 40th Anniversary Gate River Run Logo Competition and the 42nd Anniversary TD Bank Reedy River Run Logo Competition.
